With the widespread adoption of cloud computing and the advancement of AI and green transformation (GX), data centers are becoming a critical part of Japan's social infrastructure supporting its future. As a core infrastructure that underpins cloud services, data centers are required to evolve in multiple dimensions, including sustainability, regional distribution, and resilience. Particularly in light of shifting global dynamics, there is an increasing need to reassess dependence on specific countries or providers and to build a self-reliant and diverse infrastructure.
