What organizations that have been victims of ransomware attacks have in common is not a lack of technology or equipment, but rather "operational gaps." Unpatched VPNs, failure to implement two-factor authentication, inadequate internet access restrictions, and ineffective alert monitoring—incidents that could have been prevented with proper knowledge are still occurring nationwide. In this session, based on our experience building and operating networks for over 5,900 companies in Japan, we will dissect five common factors that allowed intrusions and specifically show how the domestically produced, fully managed SASE "Verona" can fill those gaps.
