— The Future Envisioned Beyond “IBM’s Standard Three Years from Now”

IBM itself is currently in the midst of transforming into an AI-first world (AI+). Global-led back-office transformation initiatives, which moved ahead earlier, are already generating substantial cash value. To drive the AI+ transformation of front-office operations at IBM Japan even more powerfully, a dedicated organization called the Special Zone has been established. This initiative is focused on reconfiguring the vast body of knowledge IBM has cultivated over many years into an AI+ framework. In this session, part of that journey and its ongoing efforts will be introduced. It is hoped that this will serve as an opportunity to reflect on the future of work in Japan and for people more broadly.
