Since the advent of diffusion modelling and ChatGPT in 2022, there has been tremendous progress in generative AI over the past two years.
As well as the accuracy of the output, there have been significant advances in domain-specific models, video generation models, multimodal models, etc. And the range of applications will be very broad.
Therefore, as the technology evolves, there is great potential for business applications.
Managed services for generative AI, as represented by ChatGPT, are beginning to be used in various industries, but there are challenges to their use in the manufacturing industry, a key industry in Japan.
In this presentation, use cases for the utilisation of generative AI in the manufacturing industry will be proposed together with the technical background.
