Data centers have grown significantly in the last decade globally due to applications such as cloud connectivity, video on demand, mobility, etc. Advancements in artificial intelligence (AI) training and inference along with user applications are driving unprecedented growth in GPU capacity. With GPU fabrics and POD density increasing, power becomes a limiting factor in data center location and capabilities. We see major trends requiring efficiently connected GPU fabrics inside the data center along with efficiently connecting a much higher number of data centers due to power constraints.
