The talk will present current and future activities at the European Space Agency to transition from the traditional point-to-point space communication towards internetworked space communication. Application scenarios for Disruption Tolerant Networking (DTN) for Earth Observation, Lunar missions and interplanetary missions will be discussed. Results of recent DTN demonstration activities will be presented and an outlook on future activities will be given.
